Joy to the World!

Do you know that the song "JOY TO THE WORLD" was composed in the year 1719?  It was written by Isaac Watts. This Christmas carol is really an old song, but we can  still sing and really enjoy it every Christmas. The lyrics was inspired by the Book of Psalms on Chapter 98.
The lyrics of this song really tells us to rejoice for the Lord (Messiah-Jesus Christ-Savior) was born, for us to be saved by sins. Heaven and earth rejoices even the nature sing, all the earth arise and shout aloud that the Lord has really come!

Let's all enjoy and feel the Christmas meaning with this song:

JOY TO THE WORLD

Isaac Watts

Joy to the World , the Lord is come!
Let earth receive her King;
Let every heart prepare Him room,
And Heaven and nature sing,
And Heaven and nature sing,
And Heaven, and Heaven, and nature sing.

Joy to the World, the Savior reigns!
Let men their songs employ;
While fields and floods, rocks, hills and plains
Repeat the sounding joy,
Repeat the sounding joy,
Repeat, repeat, the sounding joy.

No more let sins and sorrows grow,
Nor thorns infest the ground;
He comes to make His blessings flow
Far as the curse is found,
Far as the curse is found,
Far as, far as, the curse is found.

He rules the world with truth and grace,
And makes the nations prove
The glories of His righteousness,
And wonders of His love,
And wonders of His love,
And wonders, wonders, of His love.

Playing my keys!

Playing the piano is my greatest dream, as a little girl I have imagined myself  doing a recital on a big stage... hahaha! but of course it'a just a dream! But I already tried the alternative way of reading the notes, I learned how to read chords! Thank God for the wisdom co'z I learned it well! I don't need to have a recital but I always play my keys every sunday at church, I'm just giving back the talent and the wisdom God has gifted me a long time ago. I can now pass this skill I have to my children, grand children etc etc!

I think, I'm going to post an on-line tutorial on my site. Hope you'll be able to follow me then!
Thanks!

Looking back...

I remember when I was small, I really wanted to have a collection of dolls, but I haven't collected even one... So sad for me then co'z my parents always instructs me that its better to study than to play and collect those things. I  often envy my playmates when I see that they have the toys I wanted to have. I just ask my parents why I don't have those things I wanted? they just said that it's not really important at all.

Now, that I have my own son, I can now understand what's best for him, of course we buy him toys but not to collect it, but to just simply play with it and have some fun. Co'z it's really nice to have those things that's "important", than to have the things that's useless...

All are Saints

This passed holidays where we spend time together with our love ones to visit those are "saints", I called them saints for they knew Christ as Savior and Lord. Even though still dead, but in time, "we" (living and dead) will all rise up to meet the creator and spend our new life in Christ in heaven.
In times like these, our family always see to it that we'll spend time to visit our parents and relatives on All saints day, we actually do this on a date much earlier than Nov. 1 to avoid the wave of crowd who will visit the same place we're going. Together as a family, we don't need to pray for them anymore, for those are just their remains and the souls and spirits is already in the hands of God. We just spend it with lots of stories each has to tell, remembering their deeds and traits that makes as laugh, even cry... And of course, snack time will surely go after every story...
It's good to know that even the people we dearly love has gone, we knew someday not in just an ordinary place we'll meet again and united in Christ.
Have you visit your saint? :)
